4 pounds shredded cabbage
1 cup finely grated carrot
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 envelope Knox gelatin
1 cup cider vinegar
1 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup finely diced onion
1 cup salad oil
1/4 cup cold water
1 cup sugar
Recipe
Heat vinegar and sugar together. Dissolve gelatin in cold water and add to the heated vinegar. Let cool and add oil and celery seed. Toss with vegetables and marinate at least 24 hours in refrigerator. Serve chilled.
