Peggy's pot pie is a favorite of everyone.
List of Ingredients
3 c. cooked, diced chicken (use use both white and dark)
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
1 can (10 3/4 ozs.) cream of celery soup, undiluted (I use chicken soup)
1 c. chicken broth
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
Recipe
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a shallow 2 quart baking dish. Spread chicken and vegetables evenly in prepared dish. Stir together soup, broth and pepper in small mixing bowl; pour evenly over chicken mixture. Combine flour, milk and melted butter in separate bowl; stir until smooth. Pour flour mixture over ingredients in baking dish. Do not stir. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 10 minutes before serving. Makes 4-6 servings.
