    GOLDEN CORRAL ROLLS

    Source of Recipe

    Gwen, CK friend

    Recipe Introduction

Gwen tailored this recipe to use in her bread machine and the rolls are similar as those served at Golden Corral and Roadhouse Grill...soooo good!

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup milk, scalded
    1/4 cool water
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/4 cup margarine, cut up
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. active dry yeast

    Recipe

    Preheat over to 375º.
Add first 6 ingredients to bread machine pan and stir with rubber spatula to make sure all the salt and sugar is dissolved. Add the flour and then place the yeast on top. Select the dough cycle and start machine. When the dough is rising you will need to keep an eye on it because sometimes it rises in about half the time as other breads. When dough has risen to the top of pan clean your kitchen counter top off and spray with Pam or other spray oil, dump the dough out on counter top. (I use a large piece of Reynolds Freezer PAPER for this...works great.) Do not add extra flour to work the dough, use spray oil to keep the rolls light and fluffy. Spray dough well with Pam and cut into 24 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and place rolls on a well sprayed pan to rise. (I use the bottom of my broiler pan because it is just the right size to hold all of the rolls. Let rise until almost doubled. Bake for about 18 to 19 minutes, or until lightly browned.
