List of Ingredients
- 3 pounds of cut up chicken parts
- Salt
- Pepper
- 6 cups of water
- 3 cups rice
Instructions
- Place chicken in large roaster pot. Add salt and pepper and 6 cups water and bring to a boil. Turn burner on low and cook about 45 - 60 minutes or until meat is tender. Remove meat from bones.
- Add 3 cups washed rice, 6 cups of the broth and 2 tsp. of salt and some pepper. Bring to a boil on high and turn down to low and cook for about 20 or 30 minutes or until rice is done.
