    Cherry Apple Crisp

    List of Ingredients


    • Filling:
    • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
    • 1 can (20 oz) sliced apples in syrup, drained
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1/2 tsp almond extract
    • Topping:
    • 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
    • 1/3 cup flour
    • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
    • 3 Tbsp butter or margarine
    • Ice Cream (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Center 1 1/2 quart baking dish on a cookie sheet so pan does not hang over sides. Combine filling ingredients in pan; set aside.
    2. Mix together first 3 topping ingredients; cut in butter using pastry blender or 2 knives until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    3. Stir half of topping into filling in dish. Sprinkle with remaining topping.
    4. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until topping in golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.
