Cherry Apple Crisp

List of Ingredients
- Filling:
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- 1 can (20 oz) sliced apples in syrup, drained
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp butter or margarine
- Ice Cream (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Center 1 1/2 quart baking dish on a cookie sheet so pan does not hang over sides. Combine filling ingredients in pan; set aside.
- Mix together first 3 topping ingredients; cut in butter using pastry blender or 2 knives until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir half of topping into filling in dish. Sprinkle with remaining topping.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until topping in golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.
