    Veggie Bars

    This is another recipe I received while working for the PS system. Boy we use to have the best socials...or was it the best food. This recipe was from my friend Cheryl. This is a wonderful way to get your family to eat their veggies.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 packages Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (8 count)
    • 1 cup mayo
    • 2 8 ounce pkgs. cream cheese, softened
    • 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix
    • Shredded Cheese
    • Veggie toppings


    Instructions


    1. Unroll and place crescent roll strips out on a ungreased jelly-roll pan. Shape to form crust going only slightly up sides. Bake according to package directions; or until slightly browned. Allow to cool.
    2. Mix together mayo, cream cheese, and ranch dip. Spread over cooled crust.
    3. Top with a variety of veggies: chopped broccoli, chopped cauliflower, chopped green peppers, scallions, grated carrots, chopped mushrooms, and grated cheese.
    4. Press slightly into cream mixture. Top with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Serve cold.
