    Cream Cheese Banana Cookies

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon sifted cake flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 tablespoon room temperature butter
    5 tablespoon sugar
    1/4 cup light brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 egg
    1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons mashed bananas

    Frosting
    3/4 cup room temperature cream cheese
    6 tablespoons powdered sugar
    3 tablespoons room temperature butter



    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease several baking sheets with oil. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in a bowl and set aside. Cream butter, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy. Scrape bowl. Add egg and mix until blended. Fold in the dry mixture by hand. Blend. Mix until batter is smooth and velvety. Drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. Bake 10 min. Let cookies sit for 2-3 min. Remove to racks.

    Frosting:
    Place all ingredients in a food processor, and process. Spread a generous tablespoon of frosting over the top of each cookie.
