    Thai Beef Strips

    List of Ingredients




    2 pounds lean Top Round beef, thinly sliced

    Marinade:
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/4 cup sugar
    6 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
    1/4 cup thinly-sliced green onions
    1/4 cup finely-chopped fresh basil
    1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger

    Dipping Sauce:
    1/4 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons cornstarch
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    3 tablespoons vinegar
    3/4 teaspoon crushed dried red pepper

    Recipe



    Combine marinade ingredients. Add beef strips, cover, and marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours before grilling. Grill beef strips on a barbecue, about 1/2 a minute per side.

    Dipping Sauce:
    Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Add soy sauce, vinegar, and crushed red pepper. Stir all ingredients over low heat. Continue stirring and increase heat slightly until mixture begins to bubble and thicken.
