    Hot Butter Rum Sauce

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 cup dark corn syrup
    1/2 cup whipping cream
    2 tbls. butter
    dash of salt
    1/2 tsp. rum extract

    Recipe



    In medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, cream, butter and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in rum extract.

    Serve warm over ice cream.

    Makes 2 cups.
