Meatball Skillet Primavera
List of Ingredients
MEATBALLS
1/2 lb. Ground Beef
1/2 lb. bulk Italian Sausage
2 Tbsp. unseasoned Bread Crumbs
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 Egg, slightly beaten
1 Tbsp. Oil
PRIMAVERA
2 cups Water
3 oz. (1-1/2 cups) uncooked Bow Tie Pasta
1/2 cup Green Onions, sliced
1 (16 oz.) pkg. Green Giant® American Mixtures® Heartland Style Frozen Broccoli, Cauliflower & Carrots
1 Tbsp. Flour
1/2 tsp. dried Basil Leaves
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Pepper
1/2 cup Milk
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan Cheese
Recipe
In medium bowl, combine all meatball ingredients except oil; mix well. Shape into twenty 1-inch meatballs.
Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add meatballs; cook and stir until well browned. Drain well. Remove meatballs from skillet; set aside. Add water to skillet. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat; add pasta. Cook 8 to 10 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Add onions, frozen vegetables and meatballs to skillet. Return to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
In small bowl, combine flour, basil, salt, pepper and milk; blend well. Gradually stir flour mixture into meatball mixture. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until sauce is bubbly and thickened. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
4 (1-1/2 cup) servings.
