Carmel Pear Dessert
List of Ingredients
3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
3 English Muffins, split
1 can (15-ounces) chunky cut pears, drained, add 1 tsp. vanilla and allow to sit
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup prepared old-fashioned carmel apple dip, warmed
1/4 cup almond toffee bits
2 tablespoons finely chopped pecans, toasted
1-1/2 pints premium vanilla ice cream
Old-fashioned caramel apple dip, warmed (optional)
Recipe
Preheat Toaster Oven to 375º.
Spread cream cheese evenly on each muffin half. In small bowl toss pears with cinnamon and caramel apple dip. Arrange pear mixture on top of cream cheese.
Place muffins on toaster oven rack for 10-15 minutes. Carefully remove muffins with spatula; cool 5 minutes. Top muffins with toffee bits, pecans, then scoop of ice cream. Spoon additional warmed caramel apple dip over ice cream, if desired. Serve immediately.
Tips:
Warm old-fashioned caramel apple dip in microwave oven. almond toffee bits.
Pecans can be baked in toaster oven at 350°F for 3 to 5 minutes.
