    Chocolate Macadamia Bread Pudding

    List of Ingredients

    Serves 12

    2 cups heavy cream

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    9 eggs

    1 cup brown sugar

    18 ounces cubed stale bread

    2 cups large chocolate chunks

    1 cup toasted macadamia nuts

    Recipe

    Combine cream, vanilla, eggs and sugar; mix very well. Place bread in large bowl, pour liquid over bread, and let stand 30 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Once liquid has soaked into bread, stir in chocolate and nuts and place in greased baking dish. Bake until golden brown, about 30-40 minutes. May be undercooked a bit to maintain moistness in the middle. Cut into squares. If desired, top with ice cream, whipped cream or a little heavy cream mixed with a preferred liqueur.
