    Spaghetti with Pepperoni Tomato Sauce

    This recipe was on the lid of a container of spaghetti.

    List of Ingredients




    16 ounces thin spaghetti
    1/4 cup olive oil
    1/2 cup red onions, diced
    1 cup mushrooms, sliced
    1 1/2 tablespoon fresh garlic cloves, sliced
    16 ounces whole peeled tomatoes, crushed
    1 tablespoon basil
    1 teaspoon oregano
    12 ounces pepperoni, sliced
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    Recipe



    Cook pasta according to package directions.

    Meanwhile, heat olive oil in large pot over medium high heat. Saute onions, mushrooms and garlic for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, except Parmesan cheese and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve sauce over hot spaghetti and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
