2 T. butter or margarine
1 C. crushed flake breakfast cereal
1 C. flaked or shredded coconut
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
1 C. dried apricots, finely chopped
1 C. chopped nutmeats (filberts, pecans, or walnuts)
1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
Recipe
Melt butter in 9-inch square baking pan. Sprinkle crushed breakfast cereal evenly over butter. Layer coconut, chocolate pieces, apricot pieces and nutmeats over cereal. Pour milk evenly over all. Bake at 350ºF for about 30 minutes. Refrigerate until set. Cut into squares. Yields 3 dozen squares.
