    List of Ingredients

2 #2 cans of small sweet peas
    1 tsp. sugar
    4 Cups water
    4 T. butter
    1 tsp. onion salt

    DUMPLING DOUGH:
    4 Cups flour
    2 T. cooking oil (Crisco)
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/4 t. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    Recipe

Bring peas, sugar, water, butter & onion salt to a boil in large pan. Simmer 15 minutes.
Mix dough ingredients, adding just enough water to make a "rollable" dough. Roll thin, then cut into small squares. Add to boiling pea broth. Cook until done.
*dough can be made ahead, cut & dried overnight on wax paper.
