4 cups corn flakes -- crush lightly

1 1/4 pounds ground beef
1/4 pound ground pork*
2 eggs -- slightly beaten
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup onion (1 medium) ** -- chopped
1 large carrot** -- grated
1/4 cup parsley (optional) -- chopped
** The onion and carrot can be grated together in the food processor.
* If you use a little more pork, it doesn't change the recipe much.
MEATLOAF: Crush corn flakes slightly. Combine with remaining ingredients, and mix well. Spread into a greased 9-1/2 x 5-1/4-inch loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1-1/4 hours.
