    Malibu Dairyland Casserole

    12 ounces wide noodles (1/2-inch) -- cooked and drained
    3 tablespoons butter -- melted
    1 cup cottage cheese
    8 ounces cream cheese
    1/3 cup sour cream
    1 small onion -- peeled and minced
    2 tablespoons green pepper -- diced
    1 tablespoon pimiento -- diced
    1 tablespoon chives -- diced
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 pound ground beef round
    2 cans tomato sauce (8 oz each)
    1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    3 drops bottled hot pepper sauce

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Place noodles in a bowl and blend with butter; set aside. In a large bowl, blend thoroughly the cottage cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream. Add the onion, green pepper, pimiento, chives, 1/2 teaspoon salt; blend well and set aside.

    In a large skillet, brown the meat, drain fat and add the tomato sauce, the remaining 1/2 teaspoon of salt, Worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce. Mix skillet ingredients thoroughly.

    In a buttered 3-quart casserole, layer meat sauce, noodles, and cheese mixture; repeat, ending with the meat sauce. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
