    Mango Peach Salsa

    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    1 large mango -- peeled and cut into
    -- 1/4-inch dice
    1 large peach -- peeled and cut into
    -- 1/4-inch dice
    1/2 small red onion -- chopped
    2 plum tomatoes -- seeded and diced
    1/2 serrano chile -- seeds and ribs
    -- removed and minced
    1/4 teaspoon grated orange zest
    2 tablespoons orange juice
    1 1/2 teaspoons lime juice
    1 tablespoon cilantro -- minced
    2 1/4 teaspoons poppy seeds
    pinch sugar (optional)
    salt -- to taste
    fresh ground black pepper -- to taste

    In a medium glass or stainless-steel bowl, combine the mango, peach, onion, tomatoes, serrano, orange zest, orange juice, lime juice, cilantro, poppy seeds, and the sugar, if using. Add salt and pepper to taste.
