    Banana Raita #2

    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
    -------- ------------ --------------------------------
    1 cup yoghurt
    1 cup ripe bananas -- (about 3), mashed
    1 tablespoon cumin
    1 teaspoon ground coriander seed
    1 teaspoon ground cardamon seed
    1 teaspoon cayenne pepper*

    Heat the spices in a dry frying pan until they become very fragrant. Add the mashed banana and heat (I used to skip this step). Add banana mixture to yoghurt - that's it!

    *Judi's Notes: Use less if a milder relish is desired.
