1 unpeeled pear -- cored and finely
chopped
1 unpeeled apple -- cored and finely
chopped
1 cup walnuts --finely chopped
1 cup almonds -- finely chopped
1 cup hazelnuts -- finely chopped
1 cup pistachio nuts -- finely chopped
1 cup pitted dates -- chopped
1 cup raisins -- chopped
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
sweet wine
Combine pear, apple, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, pistachio nuts, dates, and raisins in a large bowl and blend well. Be careful not to chop the mixture into a paste. Add cinnamon, ginger, cider vinegar and enough wine to bind.
Place on a platter, cover and refrigerate.
