    1/4 cup Splenda
    1/4 cup orange juice
    zest from half an orange
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1/8 tsp rum flavoring (or 1/4 tsp rum)
    1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
    2 pints fully ripe strawberries

    Recipe



    Wash and hull the berries, cutting larger berries in half. Cover and refrigerate.
    To make the sauce: Combine sugar, orange zest, and orange juice in a small saucepan. Over high heat, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Blend in cinnamon, rum flavoring (or rum), and sour cream. Cover and chill at least 1 hour. Place berries in individual serving dishes and top with sauce.

    Serves: 8

    Per Serving: 35 Calories; trace Fat (6.1% calories from fat); 2g Protein; 8g Carbohydrate; 2g Dietary Fiber; 2mg Cholesterol; 12mg Sodium. Exchanges: 0 Grain(Starch); 0 Lean Meat; 1/2 Fruit; 0 Fat; 0 Other Carbohydrates.

    NOTES : I microwaved the juice, Splenda and orange zest, rather than simmering it.
