    Chocolate pie is my absolute favorite when it comes to pies. This recipe is the very best.

    List of Ingredients




    16 Ounces Chocolate Bits
    3 Tablespoons Sweet Milk
    4 Eggs, Separated
    2 Tablespoons Sugar
    Pinch Of Salt
    Pie Shell, Baked
    Whipped Cream (Optional)

    Recipe



    Melt chocolate bits in a double boiler. Cool slightly. Add milk, sugar and salt. Beat in, one at a time, the 4 egg yolks. Beat the egg whites; fold into the chocolate mixture. Pour into baked pie shell. Top with whipped cream if desired. Chill for several hours.
