    This recipe is great for the Sunday meal when company is present. Everyone will love this and it's fat and sodium restricted.

    List of Ingredients




    4 Medium Acorn Squash
    1/2 Cup Juice From Fresh Oranges
    4 Tablespoons Unsalted Margarine
    4 Tablespoons Firmly Packed Light Brown Sugar
    1 Teaspoon Grated Orange Peel
    1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
    1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
    1/4 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg

    Recipe



    Split squash; remove seeds. Place skin side up on greased baking sheet; bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until done. Scoop out squash and mash with orange juice, margarine, brown sugar, orange peel, cennamon, cloves and nutmeg. Whip until well blended. Serve immediately or place in small casserole and reheat at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot. Serves 8.
