    Sam Choy's Steak Marinade

    List of Ingredients

    3 c soy sauce
    1 c sugar
    1/2 c peeled, minced fresh ginger
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    4 Tb thinly sliced green onions
    1/4 ts white pepper
    2 ts sesame oil
    2 Tb chopped fresh cilantro (original recipe, I don't use in mine)

    Recipe

    Blend all ingredients. Marinate beef for 4-6 hours in the refrigerator.

    We use tri tip roasts. After grilling them on the barbecue, I slice diagonally, very thin, serve open face on sourdough toast with sauteed mushrooms and onions and top with Sam Choy's Teriyaki Glaze.
