    Raisin and Walnut Biscotti

    1/4 cup butter -- softened
    2/3 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 cup chopped walnuts
    1 cup raisins

    Beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Mix and add nuts and raisins.

    Shape dough into two - 1 1/2" logs. Place on oiled cookie sheet and flatten slightly.

    Bake 20 minutes. Cut diagonally into 3/4" slices and place on cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes longer.
