Blueberry Conserve

2 cups water
4 cups sugar
1/3 cup thinly sliced lemon
1/2 cup thinly sliced orange
1/2 cup raisins
1 quart blueberries -- (I use 1/2 blueberries and 1/2 huckleberries)
Bring water and sugar to a boil; add lemon, orange and raisins. Simmer 5 minutes.
Stir in berries and cook rapidly almost to gelling point * degrees above water's boiling point). As mixture thickens, stir frequently to prevent sticking.
Ladle hot conserve into hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace. remove air bubbles. process 15 minutes in a boiling water bath.
