    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
    -------- ------------ --------------------------------
    4 lg tomatoes -- seeded, cut in half
    2 tbsp olive oil
    2 tbsp lemon juice
    salt and pepper
    Topping:
    1/2 c fresh bread crumbs
    2 cloves garlic -- minced
    1/4 c minced fresh parsley -- (I use less)
    1 tsp minced fresh basil -- (I use more)
    2 tbsp minced shallots, onions -- or green onion

    Place tomatoes, cut side up in baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Bake at 450F for 5 minutes.

    Combine topping ingredients and Sprinkle over tomatoes. Bake 3 minutes more, or broil to brown crumbs.
