    Pecan Pie

    1/4 cup butter
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 cup dark corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 cup pecan halves, or pieces


    Preheat oven to 350° F.

    Cream butter with sugar until fluffy. Add 1 cup corn syrup, and 1/4 tsp. salt; beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in pecans.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool
