    Casserole for a Crowd

    2 lbs. ground beef
    1 lg. oniion, chopped
    8 ounces wide egg noodles ,cooked and drained
    1 can whole kernel corn (15¼ oz.)
    1 can peas (15¼ oz)
    1 can mushroom stems and pieces (8oz.)
    4 cups (16 oz) shredded cheddar, divided
    1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted-(10¾oz)
    1¼ cup milk
    1 Tbs. chili powder
    1 Tbs. Worchestershire sauce
    2 tsp. salt
    ¼ tsp. pepper
    ¼ tsp. garlic powder


    Brown beef with onion; drain. Transfer to a greased baking dish. (large). Add noodles, corn, peas, and mushrooms. Mix well.
    In a saucepan mix 2½ cups of cheese, soup, milk ,and seasonings.Cook and stir over low heat till cheese melts.
    Pour over noodle mixture, mix well. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake uncovered at 350º for 30 minutes
    Serves 12-14
