Marvin's Apple Cobbler
6 ounce can frozen apple juice
2 Tbs. corn starch
1 Tbs. low- fat margarine
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
6 med.apples peeled, cored, and diced.
Combine apple juice,& cornstarch. cook over medium heat until thick & bubbly.Stir in margarine, cinnamon, and vanilla.Add apples,and toss. Pour into 9 inch pie pan.
Topping:
1/2 cup flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
2 TBs.low-fat margaarine
Mix together to form crumble topping. Sprinkle over apple mixture. Bake cobbler at 350º for 30 minutes.Excellent served warm. Serves 8
