    Kolacky # 1

    1/2 cup butter
    3 oz. cream cheese
    1 cup sifted flour
    1 cup jam (or) solo filling
    Powdered sugar

    Mix butter with cream cheese; gradually work in the flour. When mixed well roll out dough on pastry cloth. Cut with a 2 in. cookie cutter. dot center of each cookie with a1/4 tsp. jam. Fold two edges to center and press together. Place on cookie sheet and Bake at 375º for 15 minutes. place on wax paper dusted with powdered suagr. sift more powdered suagr over top while still hot.
