    Recipe Introduction

This recipe is yummy if I do say so myself! It is a great points bargain. You can serve it with syrup, but I don't thnik it needs it. Hope you like it. I fixed it this weekend when my son was here, it was a hit, very filling and tasty!

    List of Ingredients

20 slices Wonder Light White Bread
    2 cup fat-free egg substitute
    2 cup fat-free skim milk
    1 cup whole milk
    3 Tbsp sugar
9 packet McNeil Specialty Products SPLENDA (R) No Calorie Sweetener
    1 Tbsp vanilla extract
    5 medium Granny Smith apple(s)
    2 tsp ground cinnamon
    1 Tbsp light butter

    Recipe

Spray 9x13 pan with Pam. Cut bread into quarters & arrange in pan. Whisk together eggs, milks, 5 packet splenda, & vanilla. Pour over bread. Peel, core, and slice apples. Toss with "fruit fresh" to prevent browning. Then toss with sugar, remaining splenda, & cinnamon. Arrange over bread. Dot with butter. Store covered in refrigerator overnight. Cook at 400 for 50-60 minutes, until apples are tender.

NOTE: I used all 1% Milk. I think the milk needs to be reduce to 1 1/2 Cups. It would result in a firmer dish. Also.. It was unclear what to do with all that bread. I quartered each piece and just kept stacking on top on each other until I had used it all. This dish when it cooks rises quite a bit, so be sure to use a deep cake pan.

By making adjustments with the milk....

    I came up with
    6 Servings
    4 Points Each

    WELL WORTH IT
