    Aunt Mettie's 3-2-1 Fudge

    Recipe Introduction


    This is one of the recipes that Janet was given by our cousin, Kathy, for a wedding shower gift. Aunt Mettie is one of the best cooks in the family.


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 cups sugar
    • 2 cups cream
    • 1 cup peanut butter


    Instructions


    1. Mix sugar and cream in a large skillet and boil until it makes a soft ball when dropped off the edge of a spoon into a bowl of water. Take off heat and add peanut butter. Stir until it is well mixed.
    2. Pour into a glass baking pan that has been buttered. Cool completely and cut into squares.
    3. For a chocolate-peanut butter fudge, add 1/3 cup of cocoa to sugar and cream mixture before heating.
