    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup crushed macaroons
    • 1/2 cup crushed toasted almonds
    • 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar
    • 2 Cups heavy cream
    • 3 Tbs dark rum
    • 3 or 4 maraschino cherries


    Instructions


    1. Mix the macaroons, most of the almonds, the sugar and 1 cup of cream together.
    2. Whip the remaining cream and fold it and the rum into the first mixture, stirring gently.
    3. Spoon the mixture into paper muffin cups and freeze for 2 hours.
    4. After about 2 hours, sprinkle with remaining almonds. Put 1/2 cherry into the middle of each for decoration and return to the freezer.
    5. Makes 6-8 servings.
