    Apple Treats

    Source of Recipe

Maranatha Baptist Church Recipe (altered slightly)

    Recipe Introduction

Whenever my family gets together, no matter whatever else I might have, they are always disappointed if I dont have Apple Treat with vanilla ice cream.

    List of Ingredients

    Things needed:
    1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
I can of Apple Pie filling - in the bake goods aisle at store
    cinnamon
    1 stick of butter
    1 cup of water
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup sugar

    Recipe

Separate the Crescent Rolls. Put about a tablespoon of Apple Pie filling in each one, roll it up and place in a 9x13 pan or pyrex bowl. Believe me when I tell you, it doesnt matter what it looks like, its going to cook up just fine. If you have any extra pie filling, just spoon it into any available space. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. On the stove top add your stick of butter, water, brown sugar and sugar and cook long enough just to melt the butter. Pour that mixture over the Cresent Rolls/pie filling, sprinkle cinnamon over the top and place in oven for about 35 to 40 minutes (till the top is browned).
Let it cool and serve with ice cream, if you choose, however it is just fine without it. It should be almost like a cobbler. It is so good, there absolutely will be none left, so as the cook, dont think you are going to be able to get some later, best to get yours now!
