    List of Ingredients

    1 T. soy sauce
    1 T. sugar
    1 T. cornstarch
1 lb. boneless chicken, cut into bite sized pieces
    2 T. oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. snow peas, sliced diagonally
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 T. hoisin
    2 T. chicken stock
    Handful of bean sprouts
    Toasted sesame seeds

    Recipe

Mix the soy sauce, sugar, and cornstarch in a bowl and add the chicken. Toss well and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Heat the oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Take the chicken out of the marinade and stir fry it for about 4 minutes. It should be golden and almost cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.

Add the onion and the snow peas to the pan with a little additional oil, if needed, and stir fry until just barely tender. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about one minute. Add the hoisin and chicken stock to the pan and stir well. Add the chicken and the bean sprouts to the pan and stir fry until everything is cooked and hot – just another couple of minutes. Serve immediately and garnish with sesame seeds.

    Serves 2-3.
