    Kinda Pad Thai

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 envelope fried rice seasoning
    • 2 T. lowfat milk
    • 2 T. peanut butter
    • 1 T. oil
    • 1 - 2" thick boneless porkchop - cut into thin strips
    • 1/2 lb. cooked shrimp
    • 1/4 lb. fresh bean sprouts
    • 4 green onions chopped
    • 4 oz. fine noodles (rice noodles or ramen) - prepared
    • 1 can fried rice
    • 2 T. chopped roasted peanuts


    Instructions


    1. Dissolve mix in milk, blend in peanut butter. Gradually stir in 1/4 cup warm water until well mixed.

    2. Heat oil in wok over high heat, add meat. Stir fry 2 minutes. Add bean sprouts and green onions, stir fry one minute.

    3. Reduce heat; stir in noodles, rice, peanuts and seasoning mixture, tossing to combine. Cook until noodles and rice are hot.



    Final Comments


    Serve w/ my Thai Radish Salad and a green salad w/ Benihana Salad dressing. I also serve with fried rice noodles and soy sauce.

    Serves 3-4.
