Yakitori Chicken Kabobs

List of Ingredients
- TERIYAKI SAUCE:
- ¼ c. soy sauce
- ¼ c. light brown sugar
- ½ t. ground ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 2 t. apricot jam
- CHICKEN KABOBS:
- 2 whole chicken breasts, skinned and boned
- 8 green onions, cut in 1” pieces
Instructions
- Combine all sauce ingredients, mixing well. Cut chicken into 1” pieces, add to sauce. Refrigerate for 1 – 4 hours.
- To form kabobs, alternate pieces of chicken and green onion on eight 8” metal skewers. (If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes.) Baste with sauce.
- Broil in preheated broiler 6” from the heat for 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked through, turning skewers 3 to 4 times.
