    Jo's Swedish Meatballs

    List of Ingredients


    • MEATBALLS:
    • 1 lb. ground pork
    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • 1 1/2 c. bread or cracker crumbs
    • 1 1/2 c. chopped onions
    • 1 egg
    • 1/4 c. parsley flakes
    • 1 1/2 t. salt
    • 1/2 t. garlic powder
    • 1/2 t. thyme
    • 1/2 t. pepper
    • 1/2 t. oregano
    • SAUCE:
    • 3 - 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
    • 3 T. vinegar
    • 6 T. bown sugar
    • 3 T. worchestershire sauce
    • dash of Tabasco


    Instructions


    1. MEATBALLS: Saute onion in butter until golden. Mix other ingredients together with onion. Areate well by mixing in mixer.

    2. Form balls. Rinse hands in cold water frequently to avoid the stickeys. Cook a few at a time and put in a cassrole dish.

    3. SAUCE: Mix all ingredients in a sauce pan. Heat to melt sugar. Pour over meatballs. Refrigerate overnight.

    4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through.
