Jo's Swedish Meatballs

List of Ingredients
- MEATBALLS:
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 c. bread or cracker crumbs
- 1 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. parsley flakes
- 1 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 t. garlic powder
- 1/2 t. thyme
- 1/2 t. pepper
- 1/2 t. oregano
- SAUCE:
- 3 - 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
- 3 T. vinegar
- 6 T. bown sugar
- 3 T. worchestershire sauce
- dash of Tabasco
Instructions
- MEATBALLS: Saute onion in butter until golden. Mix other ingredients together with onion. Areate well by mixing in mixer.
- Form balls. Rinse hands in cold water frequently to avoid the stickeys. Cook a few at a time and put in a cassrole dish.
- SAUCE: Mix all ingredients in a sauce pan. Heat to melt sugar. Pour over meatballs. Refrigerate overnight.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through.
