    Momma's Beef Birds

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 lb. round steak - thinly sliced (sometimes this is labeled "for sandwiches")
    • 1 1/2 c. stuffing - prepared
    • 2 T. hot fat
    • 2 1/2 c. beef broth
    • salt and pepper


    Instructions


    1. Put stuffing on each piece of beef. Roll up. Secure with toothpicks.

    2. Brown in fat. Pour off fat.

    3. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

    4. You can thicken the sauce with a cornstarch/water mix, if you like.
