Swedish Meatballs w/ Gravy

List of Ingredients
- 1 ½ lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, minced
- 2 slices white bread soaked in ½ c. milk and squeezed dry
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- Salt and pepper
- ½ t. allspice
- 2 pkg. Beef gravy mix
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 t. paprika
Instructions
- Mix meat, onion, bread eggs, salt, pepper and allspice. Shape into balls. Brown in a little fat in a hot skillet. Prepare gravy according to directions. Drain fat from meatballs. Pour gravy over meatballs and let simmer for 30 minutes. Beat sour cream until smooth and stir into gravy along with the paprika. Adjust seasoning.
Final Comments
Serves 4 – 6.
Serve with buttered noodles, of course!
