Recipe Introduction
Ann's blog is a visual feast. Her food and photography skills are amazing. This bread is everything that good garlic bread should be - hot, gooey, garlic-y and addictive! I've served it to someone who doesn‘t eat Gorgonzola, so I used the same amount of mozzarella - still delicious. I ended up needing another half recipe of the spread to cover the entire loaf. I brushed olive oil on the outside of the loaf before sprinkling with the Parmesan cheese. For me it too more like 25 minutes before the bread was done.

Long loaf of Italian Bread or long crusty rolls.
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese
1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
Parsley
Salt
Pepper
Fresh grated Parmesan cheese
Optional: Basil or Oregano
Recipe
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix the butter with the cheese. Add the garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. If you are using the basil or oregano, add this. Slice every couple of inches almost through the bottom of the loaf and spread between each slice with the cheese mixture. Sprinkle the top of the loaf with the Parmesan cheese. Wrap in foil. Bake for 15 (or more) minutes until hot and the cheese has melted.
