    Toastmaster Bread Box Bread Maker Use and Care Guide

    Recipe Introduction

    Made in my Toastmaster Bread Box Bread Maker. I made these loaves for Christmas gifts last year. They were delicious. They freeze very well. I probably added almost twice as much fruit and nuts as called for.

    List of Ingredients

    1/3 c. water (80F)
    1/3 c. milk (80F)
    4 t. oil
    1 t. lemon juice
    1 1/2 t. salt
    3 T. sugar
    2 c. bread flour
    1 1/2 t. active dry yeast
    1/3 c. candied fruit* (see note above)
    1/3 c. walnuts* - toasted

    *add at the beep

    Recipe

    Place all ingredients except for the fruit and nuts in the machine in the order given. Start machine using the “Sweet Bread Program” (#2). Set the crust to "Light". When the beep sounds (about 19 minutes into the program), add the fruit and nuts.

    Makes one 1-lb. loaf.
