I just dreamed this up one morning out of what I had on hand. It is a keeper! Absolutely simple and so delicious. You should use really good bacon to stand up to the tomato jam – we love Benton’s.


List of Ingredients




Slices of a baguette
Tomato jam
Bacon, cooked and diced


Recipe



Toast the baguette slices lightly on both sides. Spread with the tomato jam. Heat the bacon pieces in the microwave until hot. Top the bread slices with the bacon.
