    "ET" Bacon Crescent Rolls

    Source of Recipe

My version of a recipe from Buny's Recipe Circus site which she attributes to Kraft

    Recipe Introduction

Most every weekday morning, I have an everything (ET) bagel with cream cheese and bacon made by Sam at the Corner Cafe in Richmond, VA. It is my favorite breakfast. When I saw Buny's recipe for the bacon crescent rolls, I thought of Sam's bagels and decided to try adding the ET seasonings to the rolls. SUCCESS!!! These were just devoured by everyone!

    List of Ingredients

    • 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
    • 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled
    • 1 green onion
    • 1/2 t. Worchestershire sauce
    • 8 oz. refrigerated crescent rolls
    • vegetable oil spray
    • poppy seeds, onion and garlic bits (dried)

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    2. Mix cream cheese, bacon, onion and Worchestershire sauce. Separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles. Spread one generous teaspoon cream cheese mixture onto each triangle. Roll up, starting with the shortest side of the triangle. Place on parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Spray rolls with vegetable oil spray and sprinkle w/ poppy seeds and garlic and onion flakes.
    3. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

    Final Comments

I doubled this for 5 people (that's 16 rolls) and they were hanging around for more in about 10 minutes!
