Darienne’s Margarita Pie

Recipe Introduction
This is a delicious, creamy, tangy and refreshing dessert. Perfect for summer. Note that it has to freeze for at least 4 hours.
List of Ingredients
CRUST:
1 1/4 cups crushed pretzels
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup white sugar
FILLING:
Zest of 1 lime
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
One 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
2 T. gold tequila
2 T. Triple Sec
1 c. heavy cream, whipped
Recipe
CRUST:
Mix all the crust ingredients and press into a buttered pie pan.
FILLING:
Mix the zest, juice, condensed milk and liquors. Gently fold in the whipped cream. Pour into prepared pie crust and freeze for at least 4 hours. Serve directly from the freezer (no need to thaw at all).
Yield 1 - 9 inch pie
