List of Ingredients
- SWIRL:
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 T. cocoa
- 2 t. cinnamon
- CAKE:
- 1 pkg. lemon cake mix
- 1 T. grated orange zest
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/4 c. butter - softened
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 eggs
- GLAZE:
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. frozen orange juice concentrate
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 10" or 12 c. tube pan or bundt pan.
- SWIRL: In a small bowl, mix swirl ingredients together until well combined; set aside.
- CAKE: In large bowl, blend all cake ingredients until moistened; beat 2 minutes at highest speed. Spoon 1/3 of the batter into prepared pan; sprinkle 1/2 of the swirl mixture over batter. Repeat layer with 1/3 of batter, remaining swirl mixture and remaining batter. Bake for 50 - 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool upright in pan 15 minutes; turn onto serving plate. Cool completely.
- GLAZE: In a small saucepan, combine sugar and orange juice concentrate. Boil 2 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Allow glaze to cool 5 minutes. Spoon over cooled cake.
