Stephanie made this for us when we visited them in Florida 2015. Incredibly delicious (especially warm with vanilla ice cream) and crazy easy. Stephanie used pecan and says that she uses a little over half of the syrup from the peaches.
24.5 oz jar of sliced peaches in light syrup
1 t. cinnamon, optional
1 package yellow cake mix
1 stick butter (1/2 cup), cut into 16 pieces
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Recipe
Heat oven to 350. Spray 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Layer the ingredients in the order given. Bake for 40 minutes.
