Ugly but Good Halloween Treat

Recipe Introduction
The name says it all. It turns out looking like nothing so much as gravel, but it is so very good! My office mates just scarfed it up! The next time I make it, I am going to try to put the “goodies” in the pan and pour the white chocolate over top – I am also going to try using twice as much chocolate – I would like to achieve a ‘bark’ effect.
I don’t see why you couldn’t make this at Christmas time, too. The candy stores carry the ‘reindeer corn’, which you could substitute for candy corn. I think that I will try that.
List of Ingredients
16 Halloween Oreos, chopped
1 ½ c. mini pretzels, broken in pieces
1/3 c. golden raisins
½ c. peanuts
1 ½ c. candy corn
1 12 oz. pkg. White chocolate chips
1 t. vegetable oil
Recipe
Mix the first five ingredients and spread in a 13X9” pan that has been lined with Pam sprayed parchment paper.
Melt chips with oil in a heavy saucepan or microwave. Pour over candy corn mixture. Cool and chop or break into pieces.
