    Robirdstx at eG made these a few times and I was so intrigued. I had no idea that string cheese could get so toasty and gooey. Make sure you cook it at a low temperature – otherwise you risk the cheese stick getting overly toasty without it getting melted.

    List of Ingredients




    String Cheese – she recommends Frigo Original String Cheese, not the super low-fat kind
    Oil
    Parmesan cheese
    Garlic powder
    Fresh parsley, minced

    Recipe



    Heat the oil on medium-low in a non-stick skillet (see note above). Add the cheese and toast it on all sides. When it starts to really melt sprinkle with cheese and garlic. Allow to brown. When it is hot and melty plate and sprinkle with parsley.
